Attribute Organiser

 This week in Literacy we have to do the topic of Countries and Continents. We choose what task we would like to work on and I chose this. We had to research the different continents and find out information about them. We had to find out a few countries in the continents, an ocean or sea surrounding it, a mountain, some very awesome facts and a really cool picture of the place. 

I was supposed to put only notes and bullet points on it which my teacher had to remind me to do so. I only deleted a few words. I researched the continents pretty well and found out some great information. Next time I need to remember to only write down notes.

Video Game Timeline

 WALT: write a quality blog post using the ‘Smart Learner’ writing criteria.

Last term one of our Literacy themes was Video Games. We get to choose what activities we wanted to do, I chose this activity which was based on different times Video Games were released. I needed to research video games and find out when they came out and what they do. If you would like to see what our activities are, you can go to our Team's Kotuku Google Site.

For this activity, I was supposed to research video games and when they came out, I completed that, got the right answers, and put lots of description in for each game. I learnt what video games were popular back in the day, when different games were released, and what they did.

Strange Animal Attribute Organiser

 This term our literacy theme is Strange And Wonderful Animals. We get to choose what activity we do, I chose this activity which is all about researching strange animals. The animals we had to research was a Pangolin, Naked Mole-Rat, Goblin Shark, Shoebill, Aye-Aye, and Magnificent Frigate bird. We had to find out where the animals live, what they eat, their habitat, and 3 interesting facts.

For this activity I was supposed to research each animal and find out all of the information. I had to only put notes and bullet points on it. I did sentences before and the teacher had to leave a comment telling me that it was only notes. I did the researching really well and I found good facts. Next time I will read the instructions properly and get it right the first time.
